Drak Pack is an exciting animated TV show from 1980. It's about the descendants of famous movie monsters who decide to use their powers for good! Instead of being scary villains, they become superheroes. The show aired in the United States on CBS every Saturday morning from September 6 to December 20, 1980. It was made by the Australian part of Hanna-Barbera, a well-known animation studio.

Meet the Drak Pack Heroes

This fun series follows three young men: Drak Jr., Frankie, and Howler. They are the great-great-grandnephews of famous monsters like Count Dracula, the Frankenstein monster, and the Wolf Man. To make up for the bad things their ancestors did, these three friends team up as the Drak Pack. They fight against evil and help people.

How the Drak Pack Transforms

At first, they look like regular teenagers. But when trouble strikes, they hit their right hands together and yell "Wacko!" This special move is called the Drak Whack. After the Drak Whack, they instantly change into their super-powered monster forms:

  • Drak Jr. becomes a vampire.
  • Frankie turns into a strong Frankenstein monster.
  • Howler transforms into a powerful werewolf.

Their main way to get around is in a cool flying car called "the Drakster." It can travel on land, water, and in the air!

Who Do They Fight?

The Drak Pack's biggest enemy is Dr. Dred. He's a blue-skinned evil genius who leads a bad group called O.G.R.E. This stands for "The Organization of Generally Rotten Enterprises" or "Endeavours." Dr. Dred's team includes:

  • Toad
  • Fly
  • Mummyman
  • Vampira

When the Drak Pack needs advice, they visit Drak Jr.'s great-great-uncle, Count Dracula himself. They call him "Big D." He helps them figure out how to stop Dr. Dred's sneaky plans.
