Miiko Martín Albornoz Inola (born on November 30, 1990) is a professional footballer. He plays as a left-back for Vejle Boldklub in Denmark. Miiko was born in Sweden. He started his football journey there. Later, he played for the Chilean national team. He was part of the team that won the 2015 Copa América.

Playing for Brommapojkarna
Albornoz began playing football at age four. He joined IF Brommapojkarna in Sweden. He played for their youth teams. In 2007, he joined the first team. He played his first game in 2008 in the Superettan league. In 2009, he played his first game in the top Swedish league, Allsvenskan.
Time at Malmö FF
On August 14, 2011, Albornoz signed with Malmö FF. This club was the Swedish champion. He took over jersey number 14. He made his first appearance for Malmö FF on August 20, 2011. This was in a 2–1 win against GAIS. In his first season, he played six league matches. He also played in the 2011–12 UEFA Europa League group stage.
For the 2012 season, Albornoz often played as a right-back. This was new for him, as he is left-footed. He scored his first goal for the club on August 27. It was a powerful shot from outside the penalty area. In 2012, he played 27 matches and scored three goals.
In 2013, Albornoz changed his jersey to number 3. He played a big part in the team winning the league title. He also played in the 2013–14 UEFA Europa League qualification games. He was even nominated as the best defender of the year. In 2014, he played nine matches before moving to Germany. Malmö FF won another league title that year after he left.
Moving to Hannover 96
On June 20, 2014, Albornoz moved to Hannover 96. This is a club in the German Bundesliga. The transfer was made official on July 1, 2014. At that time, Albornoz was in Brazil. He was there with the Chilean national team for the 2014 FIFA World Cup.
Playing for Colo-Colo
In March 2021, Albornoz joined Colo-Colo. This is a club in the top Chilean league. He played nine matches for them. The club decided not to keep him after December of that year.

Playing for Sweden's Youth Teams
From 2005 to 2013, Albornoz played for Sweden's youth teams. He played for the under-17, under-19, and under-21 teams. In December 2013, he was asked to join Sweden's senior team. However, he decided to wait. He wanted a chance to play for Chile instead.
Playing for Chile's National Team
In December 2013, Albornoz said he wanted to play for Chile. He was called up for a friendly match against Costa Rica. He chose Chile because he wanted to play in the 2014 FIFA World Cup. Albornoz played his first game for Chile on January 22. He scored the first goal in a 4–0 win against Costa Rica.
On May 13, 2014, Albornoz was named to the World Cup team. He played his second game against Egypt. The next day, he was confirmed as one of the 23 players for the World Cup in Brazil. Even though Chile reached the second round, Albornoz did not play in any matches. He was also part of the team that won the 2015 Copa América.
