Early Life and Inspiration
Mika Singh was born as Amrik Singh in Durgapur, West Bengal. He is the youngest of eight children. Mika and his older brother, Daler Mehndi, were inspired by their father, Ajmer Singh. Their father was a trained classical musician who sang religious songs called kirtans.
Concerts and Live Shows
Mika Singh has performed in many big concerts around the world. In 2014, he was part of the Bollywood Showstoppers event at The O2 Arena in London. He performed alongside other famous actors like Arjun Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha.
In 2016, Mika also performed at the Sandwell & Birmingham Mela, which is a large outdoor festival. About 80,000 people attended the Mela to enjoy the music and performances.
