Mike Lamb's Baseball Journey

Mike Lamb started his baseball journey in high school and college. He was a talented player who made it to the big leagues.

Starting with the Texas Rangers

Playing for the Houston Astros

During the 2005 season, Lamb hit 12 home runs. He also had 53 RBI, which means he helped score 53 runs. He was part of the team that played in the 2005 World Series. In that series, he hit the first World Series home run in Astros history. This was a very special moment for him and the team.

Time with the Minnesota Twins

Short Stay with the New York Mets

In April 2009, the New York Mets signed Mike Lamb to a minor league contract. He spent the entire 2009 season playing for their Triple-A team, the Buffalo Bisons. He played in 119 games for them. After that season, he became a free agent.

Final MLB Team: Florida Marlins

On February 11, 2010, Lamb signed a minor league contract with the Florida Marlins. He was added to their Major League roster in April. He played for the Marlins for a short time. Later, he was sent to their Triple-A team, the New Orleans Zephyrs. He was called back up to the Marlins team in June 2010.

Later Career in Baseball
