Milad Mohammadi (born 29 September 1993) is a professional football player from Iran. He is known for his great speed and how he can play in different positions. Milad mostly plays as a left-back or a winger.
He currently plays for the Persian Gulf Pro League club Persepolis. Milad also plays for the Iranian national team. His twin brother, Mehrdad Mohammadi, is also a football player. Mehrdad plays for Esteghlal.

Milad Mohammadi's Club Journey
Playing for Rah Ahan
Milad Mohammadi started his professional club career with Rah Ahan in the summer of 2014. He signed a five-year contract with the team. His very first game was against Esteghlal in the 2014–15 Iran Pro League.
In 2015, Milad had a trial with an Austrian club called Sturm Graz. He had offers from other European teams too. However, his coach at Rah Ahan, Farhad Kazemi, did not let him leave the club at that time.
Time with Akhmat Grozny
On 6 February 2016, Milad Mohammadi signed a contract with Russian Premier League club Terek Grozny. This contract was until 2019. He played his first game for Terek Grozny on 2 April 2016. He came in as a substitute in a 3–2 win against Anzhi Makhachkala.
Milad scored his first goal for Terek Grozny on 29 April 2017. This was also his first goal ever in a professional league game. It happened in a big 5–2 win against Ural Yekaterinburg. After the 2016–17 season, he was recognized as one of the top 50 young Asian players (under 23) to watch. His contract with Akhmat Grozny ended on 27 May 2019, and he left the club.
Moving to Gent

In July 2019, Milad Mohammadi joined the Belgian club Gent. He became a very important player for the team in many matches. He was good at defending and also helped the team score important goals.
Playing for AEK Athens
On 17 September 2021, Milad signed a three-year contract with Super League Greece team AEK Athens. He joined them after leaving Gent on 25 August.
Joining Adana Demirspor
On 26 January 2024, Milad Mohammadi moved to the Turkish club Adana Demirspor. He signed a contract for two and a half years, which meant he would stay with the club until the summer of 2026. This transfer was reported by many sports news channels.
Adana Demirspor signed Milad to make their team stronger. His experience as a left-back and winger, along with playing for his national team, was seen as a great addition. He left the club on 19 August 2024.
Return to Persepolis
On 20 August 2024, Milad Mohammadi joined Persepolis. This is a club in the Persian Gulf Pro League. He signed a two-year deal with them.
Milad Mohammadi's International Career

Milad Mohammadi scored a goal during the 2016 AFC U-23 Championship.
In June 2015, Carlos Queiroz, the coach of the Iranian national team, invited Milad to join the team. Milad played his first game for Iran on 11 June 2015. It was a friendly match against Uzbekistan. He was also on the bench for a World Cup qualifier against Turkmenistan on 16 June 2015.
He was part of Iran's team for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. During a match against Spain, he became well-known for trying a very fancy throw-in in the last minutes of the game, but it didn't work out.

About Milad Mohammadi's Life
Milad Mohammadi was born in the Fallah district, which is in the south of Tehran. However, he has mentioned that he is originally from Qazvin. His family comes from Qazvin Province. They are from a village called Kashmarz and are part of the Iranian Azerbaijani community.
Football fans in Iran gave him the nickname "Mig-Mig." This nickname comes from a cartoon character named Roadrunner, from the "Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner" cartoons. As mentioned earlier, he has a twin brother named Mehrdad Mohammadi.
