Minenhle Dlamini (born 7 July 1990), known as Minnie Dlamini, is a famous South African TV personality, actress, and model. She became well-known in 2010 when she was chosen to be the new presenter for the SABC 1 live music show called Live Amp.

Early Life and School
Minnie Dlamini was born in Durban, a city in the KwaZulu-Natal Province of South Africa. Her parents are Jabulani and Queen Dlamini. She went to Northlands Girls’ High School for her early education. After high school, she studied at the University of Cape Town. There, she learned about film, media, drama, and economics.
Personal Life Journey
On 8 July 2017, Minnie Dlamini had a traditional wedding with Quinton Jones in Glenn Hills, Durban North. Later, on 16 September, they had a white wedding. A company called Multichoice bought the exclusive rights to cover their wedding for a large sum of money.
On 13 October, Minnie launched a three-part reality show called Minnie Dlamini: Becoming Mrs Jones. This show was shown on Vuzu Amp on DStv. It followed her journey before and after her wedding. On 19 October, VuzuTV announced that the first episode of her show was the most-watched show in Vuzu Amp's history.
In early 2022, Minnie and Quinton decided to get divorced after four years of marriage.

On-Air Personality Role
While she was a student at the University of Cape Town, Minnie Dlamini started her career as a presenter. She first appeared on screen on 16 June 2010, covering "Youth Day" and "World Cup celebrations" for the show LIVE. She later co-hosted Mzansi Insider, which was a lifestyle show on SABC 1. In 2012, she left that show to focus on acting.
In 2013, Minnie moved into sports broadcasting. She co-hosted Soccerzone with Thomas Mlambo. She continued with the show until 2016 when its format was changed. Minnie has also hosted many local and international award shows. These include the 14th Metro FM Music Awards and the 2016 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards. She also hosted the PSL Awards and the South African Film and Television Awards.
Acting Roles
Minnie Dlamini started acting in 2010. Her first role was a guest appearance as Miranda in Generations, a TV soap opera on SABC 1. She then played a main character named Zintle Lebone in the soap opera The Wild. She also played Nosipho Bogatsu in the show Rockville.
Modelling and Fashion
In September 2011, Minnie Dlamini became the new face for LEGit, a South African department store. She even had her own fashion line with them, called the Minnie-Series. In 2022, Minnie Dlamini wore special limited edition Veldskoen Shoes sneakers. These shoes were made in partnership with DHL. She wore them at Paris Fashion Week before they were officially launched in Paris.

Helping Others (Philanthropy)
In 2014, Minnie Dlamini started the Minnie Dlamini Foundation. This is a charity organization that helps young South African girls get a good education. On 15 July 2015, she announced on Twitter that her foundation would pay for the university fees of 29 students.
