Mitch Lucker's Music Journey
Mitch Lucker started his music career in the year 2000. His first band was called Breakaway. This band later became a local metalcore band named Dying Dreams. In Dying Dreams, Mitch was the singer. His brother Cliff played guitar.
About a year before Dying Dreams ended, Mitch joined ... Silence. At first, this band was just a side project.
Albums with Suicide Silence
Suicide Silence released their first album, The Cleansing, in 2007. It sold many copies in its first week. Their second album, No Time to Bleed, came out in June 2009.
The last album Mitch Lucker sang on was The Black Crown. It was released in July 2011. Mitch once explained that this album was very personal to him. He said it was like "my head cracked open and poured on the paper!" He wanted the music to be for everyone.

He compared it to owning a beautiful painting that you could never look at.
Mitch Lucker's Passing
Mitch Lucker passed away on November 1, 2012. He was in a motorcycle accident in Huntington Beach, California. He was pronounced dead early that morning.
His bandmates held a special memorial concert for him. It was called "Ending Is the Beginning." This concert took place on December 21, 2012, in Pomona, California. The money raised from the show helped pay for his daughter's education. The band also set up the Kenadee Lucker Education Fund to continue supporting her.
