Mohsen Chavoshi's Music Career

Mohsen Chavoshi started his music journey after finishing school and his military service. His album Ye Shakhe Niloufar (which means "A Lotus Sprout") was officially allowed to be released in 2008. This album became super popular! It sold over one million legal copies, making it the best-selling legal CD in Iran at that time.

For Yek Shakheh Niloofar, Mohsen worked with a new producer. They tried a new style that mixed rock music with traditional Persian instruments. In 2010, Mohsen released his album Jakat (Jacket). This album had many upbeat and emotional songs. It even started with a lively song in a "Bandari" style, which uses a southern Iranian accent. This surprised his fans a little!

Mohsen Chavoshi produced most of the songs on his albums himself. Other professional producers like Shahab Akbari also helped with some tracks.

He released his seventh album, Greedy, in 2011. In 2012, Parcham-e Sefid (White Flag) was released. Also in 2012, a group album called Again Del Seda came out. It had one of Mohsen's songs, which became a big hit. He then released Man Khod An Sizdaham ('I Am The Thirteen') in 2013.
