Mohsen Chavoshi Hosseini is a famous Iranian musician. He is a singer, songwriter, and record producer. Mohsen was born on July 30, 1979. He is known for his unique voice and style. He has released many albums and songs. He also created music for the 2007 movie Santouri. Mohsen Chavoshi lives in Tehran, Iran.

Early Life and Background

Mohsen Chavoshi was born in Khorramshahr, a city in Khuzestan Province, Iran. His family is from the Kurdish region of Kurdistan Province. Later, his family moved to Mashhad, in Razavi Khorasan Province. Mohsen finished his schooling there.

Music Career

Mohsen Chavoshi started his music career after finishing school. His album Ye Shakhe Niloufar (which means "A Lotus Sprout") was released legally in 2008. This album became very popular. It sold over one million copies in Iran. This made it the best-selling legal CD in the country at that time.

With Yek Shakheh Niloofar, Mohsen tried a new music style. It was more like rock music. He also used traditional Persian instruments in his songs. In 2010, he released another album called Jakat (Jacket). This album had many lively and emotional songs. It even started with a fun, upbeat song. This song used a southern Iranian dialect.

Mohsen Chavoshi produced most of the songs on his albums himself. He worked with other talented producers too. He released his seventh album, Greedy, in 2011. In 2012, Parcham-e Sefid (White Flag) came out. It was his fourth official album. Another album, Again Del Seda, also came out in 2012. It included one of Mohsen's hit songs.

In 2013, he released Man Khod An Sizdaham (meaning "I Am The Thirteen"). Then, in October 2014, he released Paroye Bi Ghayegh (Boatless Oar). This album broke sales records in Iran for that year. People in Iran often call Mohsen Chavoshi the "Special Music Man."

Mohsen Chavoshi has three brothers and two sisters. He got married in March 2009. He has a son named Zankow.
