The Monster High animated web series is based on the popular Mattel fashion dolls. It was released on YouTube and follows a group of teenage characters. These characters are the children of famous monsters from movies and stories. They all go to high school together, learning about friendship and being themselves.
The web series also helps introduce new doll characters. It had its first run until 2015 with Volume 6. Then, a new version called Adventures of the Ghoul Squad started. In total, 186 episodes of Monster High were made.

When Monster High First Aired
The Monster High webisodes first came out on YouTube on May 5, 2010. New episodes were usually added every Friday.
The original cartoon series finished in 2015 with Volume 6. After that, a new series called Adventures of the Ghoul Squad began.

On August 11, 2017, Mattel released a new series called Monster High: Adventures of the Ghoul Squad on YouTube Kids. This series followed the movies Welcome to Monster High and Monster High: Electrified. It also started airing on KidsClick in the United States on September 24, 2018.
