How Moraine Lake Gets Its Water

During the warmer months of the year, Moraine Lake is fed by melting ice from nearby glaciers. Two of these important glaciers are the Inspiration Glacier and the Forbidden Glacier. As the sun melts parts of these huge ice formations, the water flows down into Moraine Lake, keeping it full and clear.
