Morgan Fairchild (born Patsy Ann McClenny; February 3, 1950) is an American actress. She started her acting career in the early 1970s. Since then, she has appeared in many popular television shows.
Fairchild first became known on the TV show Search for Tomorrow. She played Jennifer Pace from 1973 to 1977. Later, she was the first actress to play Jenna Wade in the show Dallas. She also had a main role in Flamingo Road in 1980. For this role, she was nominated for a Golden Globe Award. She also appeared in Paper Dolls and Falcon Crest. Morgan Fairchild has acted in plays and had guest roles in comedies. These include Murphy Brown, Two and a Half Men, Roseanne, Cybill, and Friends. She is also a board member of SAG-AFTRA, a group for actors.

Early Life and Beginnings
Morgan Fairchild was born Patsy Ann McClenny in Dallas, Texas. Her mother, Martha Jane, was a high school English teacher. Her father was Edward Milton McClenny. Morgan has a younger sister, Cathryn Hartt, who is also an actress.
When she was a child, Morgan appeared on a local TV show called Mr. Peppermint Show. As a teenager, she was in the audience of another show, Sump'n Else. She also appeared in several commercials in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
Acting Career Highlights
Fairchild's first acting job was as a double for Faye Dunaway. This was for the movie Bonnie and Clyde in 1967. She helped in scenes where Bonnie was driving a car. Morgan chose her new first name, Morgan, from a movie called Morgan - A Suitable Case for Treatment.
