Who Was Morgan Lake Named After?
Morgan Lake was named after an early settler named Charles Morgan. He lived from 1802 to 1875. Charles Morgan was one of the first people to settle on the shores of this lake.
He made his home in Waterford Township. Charles Morgan had a 120-acre farm. This farm was located on the southeast side of the lake.
