Morningside is a small town in Prince George's County, Maryland, United States. It's called an "incorporated town" because it has its own local government. In 2020, about 1,240 people lived there.

The town grew because of important places nearby. These include Andrews Air Force Base and the U.S. Census Bureau. Morningside is run by a mayor and a town council.

You'll find schools like Morningside Elementary and Benjamin Foulois Junior High in the town. There's also Michael J. Polley Neighborhood Park. Morningside is home to one of the biggest VFW groups in the country. The VFW is an organization for military veterans.

Morningside is also known for being the home of two famous radio stations, WJFK and WPGC-FM. These stations have been important to the Washington, D.C. area since the 1960s. The town also has a very busy volunteer fire department, Station 827. In 2015, this station responded to over 8,000 emergency calls. They even handled 150 working fires in Morningside and nearby areas. Their service has earned them national recognition.
