This community started to come together in September 1999. At that time, several smaller neighborhoods decided to join forces and form one organized group. These original neighborhoods were Bliss Court, Brantwood, Carolina Place, Wessex, and Windermere.
Exploring the Morningside Place Area
Morningside Place is located in Houston, just east of Kirby Drive. It sits between the Southgate neighborhood and the City of West University Place. The area is very close to important places like the Texas Medical Center, Rice University, and Rice Village.
The different communities that make up Morningside Place today include Bliss Court, Brantwood, Carolina Place, Condon Oaks, Hamlet T/H Condo, McClendon/Pinnacle, Royal Oaks at Kirby, Village T/H Condo, Wessex, and Windermere.
