Mosby is a small city in Clay County, Missouri, United States. It is located along the Fishing River. In 2020, about 101 people lived there. Mosby is part of the larger Kansas City metropolitan area.

History of Mosby

Mosby got its name from A. G. Mosby, who was the first owner of the land where the city now stands. A post office opened in Mosby in 1887. It served the community for many years, finally closing in 1999.
