Skiing and Snow Tubing Fun at Mount Peter

Mount Peter is well-known for its ski and tubing area. It first opened way back in 1936. At that time, it was used to show off ski clothes for Macy's department store!

Today, the ski area is still going strong. It has 14 different trails for skiing and snowboarding. There's also a terrain park for tricks and jumps. To get up the mountain, skiers use one quad chair lift, two double chair lifts, and two carpet lifts.

Mount Peter is special because it's the oldest ski area still running in New York. It's also one of the few family-run ski spots in the region. The resort has a main lodge with a cafeteria, a bar, and places to rent equipment. There's even a gift shop.

You can enjoy night skiing and tubing because the mountain has lights. Plus, they make their own snow on all the trails. This means there's always enough snow for winter fun!
