Time in Exile
In 1982, a new leader named Hissein Habré took power in Chad. Because of this, Moussa Faki had to leave the country and live in exile. He joined a group called the Democratic Revolutionary Council. He did not return to Chad until 1991, after Idriss Déby became president.
Career in Chad
