MrBeast Burger is a special kind of restaurant created by the famous internet star Jimmy Donaldson, known as MrBeast. It's a "virtual restaurant," which means it doesn't have its own dining rooms. Instead, you order food through a delivery app, and the meals are made in other restaurants' kitchens. You can find MrBeast Burger in many countries like the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. They serve yummy burgers, french fries, and other tasty treats.

History
How MrBeast Burger Started

Jimmy Donaldson, or MrBeast, had been thinking about starting a food business for a long time. His team said they worked on the idea for many months, even over a year! The official MrBeast Burger Twitter page was made in August 2020. People started seeing MrBeast Burger on food delivery apps a few days before it officially opened.
The Grand Opening
The very first MrBeast Burger location opened on November 10, 2020, in Wilson, North Carolina. This place was a regular Burger Boy restaurant that MrBeast temporarily decorated. It was the only physical MrBeast Burger store.
For a YouTube video, MrBeast gave away free food. He also gave away money, cool technology, and even a new car to people who waited in line. Thousands of customers showed up, and the line for the drive-through was super long, sometimes reaching 20 miles!
The police had to help control the traffic. Eventually, the line got too long, and the police asked for it to be closed. MrBeast uploaded a video about this event on December 19, 2020. In the video, he officially announced that MrBeast Burger was open with 300 locations across the United States. He also said that a part of every order would go to charities. These charities help make sure people around the world have enough food.
MrBeast Burger quickly became very popular. After the video came out, it was the #1 trending video on YouTube. The MrBeast Burger apps also became the most downloaded apps on the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. So many people downloaded the apps that the servers got overloaded, causing some temporary problems. But these issues were fixed quickly. Because it was so popular, almost all 300 locations ran out of food on the first night!
Three months after opening, MrBeast Burger had sold over 1 million burgers.
In April 2021, MrBeast Burger teamed up with another famous YouTuber, Dream. They created a special "Dream Burger" for a limited time. It had two beef patties, American cheese, lettuce, mayo, bacon, pickles, and smashed avocado.
In March 2022, MrBeast released a new item: the Shrek Quesadilla! He was allowed to use the Shrek characters for this. The quesadilla has two beef patties, cheese, pickles, and onions.
Growing Bigger
Since it first opened, MrBeast Burger has planned to open in more places. Many fans who couldn't get delivery complained. MrBeast understood and said they were working hard to double and triple the number of locations.
The first MrBeast Burger spots in Canada opened in early February. These included locations in Toronto, Edmonton, and Calgary. More opened soon after in Vancouver, Halifax, and Winnipeg. The first locations in the United Kingdom (UK) opened in early May, with five spots.

On August 30, 2022, MrBeast announced he would open a physical MrBeast Burger restaurant in the American Dream Mall in East Rutherford, New Jersey. This was going to be his first actual restaurant in the U.S. It opened on September 4, 2022. Thousands of people came to the mall, and New Jersey state troopers had to help control the big crowd.
MrBeast Burger also opened its first virtual location in Southeast Asia. This happened in the Philippines in partnership with JustKitchen Philippines and GrabFood on March 22, 2023.
Today, MrBeast Burger has over 300 virtual locations across the U.S. mainland, plus one in Puerto Rico. In 2023, the business also came to Mexico.
Lawsuit Information
In June 2023, MrBeast said on Twitter that he was "moving on from MrBeast Burger." He wanted to focus on his other business, Feastables, which makes snacks. He mentioned that he regretted signing a "bad deal" with the company, Virtual Dining Concepts. He felt the company wouldn't let him stop, even though he thought it was hurting his brand. MrBeast later deleted these tweets.
On July 31, 2023, MrBeast (Jimmy Donaldson) took legal action against Virtual Dining Concepts. He said he believed the company was not keeping up the quality he wanted for the food. He felt they cared more about growing their business than making good food. He also claimed that Virtual Dining Concepts had used the "Mr. Beast" name without his permission. He said he had not received any money from MrBeast Burger.
Virtual Dining Concepts disagreed with MrBeast's claims. Their lawyers said his statements had "false information." They also said MrBeast had recently tried to make a new deal with them. The company claimed MrBeast was using "bullying tactics" to get out of his current agreement without a good reason. Virtual Dining Concepts said they had hoped Mr. Donaldson would "act honorably." They felt he had "elevated greed over his word and the truth." They stated he would "face the consequences in court" when they filed their own claims against him. This case will be heard in a court in New York.
