Muhammad Suheimat (1916 - December 16, 1968) was an important Jordanian military leader and a statesman. He was born in the city of Al Karak in 1916. His father, Sheikh Attallah Suheimat, was a national leader who served in the first Legislative Council of the Emirate of Transjordan and held many political jobs. After finishing high school, Muhammad Suheimat joined the Jordanian Armed Forces in 1941. He later studied at The Police Staff College, Bramshill in England.

Helping with Traffic and Transport
- He was one of the people who started the Traffic Department and the system for getting licenses in the public security department.

Muhammad Suheimat passed away in Amman on December 16, 1968. He was given a special military funeral. He was buried in the cemetery of the Prophet Noah in the city of Al Karak, in southern Jordan.
