Sırrı Murat Dalkılıç (born August 7, 1983) is a famous Turkish pop singer and songwriter. He is also a music producer, film and animation producer, director, and actor. He has released many popular songs and albums throughout his career.

Murat Dalkılıç's Early Life and Talents
Murat Dalkılıç was born in İzmir, a city in Turkey. He grew up in Kuşadası. From a young age, Murat showed many talents. When he was 15, he started playing the piano. He even formed his very first music group!
Besides music, Murat was also a talented athlete. He loved basketball, running, and swimming. He played basketball professionally for the Kuşadası Spor team when he was just 17. He even won medals in the Grand Atatürk Run and swimming contests.

Murat studied acting at Beykent University. After finishing his first degree, he went on to get a Master's degree. He specialized in acting for Cinema and Television at Bilgi University.
He also has his own company called "Gig Production." This company works on international films, music, and animation. A famous artist named Onur Can Çaylı joined his company. Murat Dalkılıç's music career really took off in October 2008. He released his first single, "Kasaba" (which means "town"). The song was written by Soner Sarıkabadayı. It quickly became very popular on Turkish radio stations.
A music video for "Kasaba" came out in December 2008. His friend, the singer Murat Boz, was in the video. "Kasaba" became a huge hit, reaching number one on the Türkçe Top 20 chart. It stayed at the top for seven weeks! After this success, he released an EP (a mini-album) also called "Kasaba."
In 2009, Murat signed with "Sony Music Entertainment." He then released three full albums with them.

His first album, Merhaba, came out on June 4, 2010. Many songs from this album became popular. These included "La Fontaine," "Külah," "Kıyamadım İkimize," "Merhaba Merhaba," "Dönmem," and "Çatlat."
His second album, Bir Güzellik Yap, was released in 2012. It featured hit singles like "Kader," "Bi Hayli," and "Lüzumsuz Savaş." The song "Bir Güzellik Yap" also topped the charts.
From his third album, Daha Derine, songs like "İki Yol," "Yani," and "Leyla" were popular. His 2014 single "Derine" also reached the top of the charts. The music video for "Derine" was very exciting. It was 9 minutes long and featured lots of action with Turkish actress Özge Özpirincci.
Murat has also written songs for other artists. He wrote the lyrics for "Kırk Yılda Bir Gibisin" for Emrah Karaduman. He composed "Ben Kalp Sen" for a TV series called Aşk Yeniden. He also composed "Fırça" and co-composed "Şahaneyim," which was sung by Zeynep Bastık.
