Early Life and Education

Naadiya Moosajee was born in South Africa in 1984. She loved learning and went to the University of Cape Town (UCT). There, she earned a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Civil Engineering. Civil engineering is about designing and building things like roads, bridges, and buildings.

She continued her studies at UCT and got a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Transport Engineering in 2009. This field focuses on how people and goods move around. During her master's degree, she also studied for a year in Germany at the University of Stuttgart. Later, in 2013, she earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Edinburgh in Scotland. An MBA teaches you how to run a business.

Her Career Journey

After her first degree, Naadiya worked as a Project Engineer at a company called Arcus Gibb Engineering. She helped with different engineering projects in Cape Town.

A big moment in her career was during the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa. She helped plan and manage all the transport for important people, the media, and match officials in Cape Town. Imagine making sure everyone got where they needed to be during such a huge event!

In 2009, Naadiya became a Global Leadership Fellow for a group called Youth Action Network. She worked with them for over a year.
