The Nanjing Temple of Confucius is a special place in Nanjing, China. It is a temple built to honor Confucius. He was a very wise teacher and philosopher from ancient China.
You can find this temple on the north side of the Qinhuai River. It is in the Qinhuai District of Nanjing. This temple is also known as the biggest old traditional market in China.
Many parts of the temple have been carefully fixed up. Buildings like Mingde Hall and the Changnan Examination Hall look great again. Because of this, many people visit the temple every year.
When you visit, you can try delicious local food. You can also explore the Imperial Examination Museum. This museum teaches about old tests people took to get government jobs.
Getting there is easy! You can take Subway line 3 directly to the Confucius Temple stop. Subway line 1 also goes to Sanshan Street, which is close by. At night, the river and buildings light up with beautiful colors. It's a wonderful sight to see!
