Naples is a small village located in Ontario County, New York, in the United States. In 2020, about 931 people lived there. It is part of the larger Town of Naples. This area is well-known for growing grapes.

History of Naples Village
The village of Naples was one of the first places where pioneers settled. People started living here around the year 1790. The village officially became a village in 1894. This means it got its own local government.
Over the years, people in Naples have voted on whether the village should join with the larger Town of Naples. These votes happened in 1994, 2001, and 2005. Each time, the people decided that the village should remain separate.
Some important historic buildings in Naples are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. These include the Ephraim Cleveland House, the Naples Memorial Town Hall, and the Morgan Hook and Ladder Company.
Geography of Naples
Naples is located in a beautiful part of New York State. It is southwest of Canandaigua Lake, which is one of the famous Finger Lakes. The Naples Creek also flows nearby, leading towards the lake. Another interesting natural spot close by is Grimes Glen.
The village itself covers about 1.0 square mile (2.5 square kilometers) of land. Several main roads meet in Naples. These include New York State Route 21, New York State Route 53, and New York State Route 245. There are also County Roads 33 and 36.
