Natalie Ong, known professionally as NYA, is a talented singer and songwriter from Singapore and Australia. She became famous after appearing on the TV show The X Factor Australia in 2016. Since then, she has been creating and releasing her own music, even moving to China to continue her singing career.

About Natalie's Life

Natalie Ong was born in Singapore on December 19, 2000. When she was about two and a half years old, her family moved to Australia. Natalie attended Waverley Christian College in Victoria as a senior student. She also has a younger brother.

Natalie's Music Career

Natalie Ong became well-known after she appeared on the eighth season of The X Factor Australia in 2016. For her audition, she sang "The Voice Within" by Christina Aguilera. Her mentor on the show, Adam Lambert, chose Natalie as one of his top three singers to move on to the live shows. She impressed him by singing "I'd Rather Go Blind" by Etta James. Even though she was eliminated in Week 1 of the live shows, her career continued to grow after the program.

After The X Factor

Following her time on The X Factor, Natalie released her own song called "Get Gold" in 2017. She also performed in a musical called Army Daze 2 in 2017, where she played the character Renee. Natalie also performed at events like ChildAid in 2016 and 2017, and the Home Team Show & Festival in 2017. These performances were directed by the famous artist Dick Lee.

Moving to China

More recently, Natalie moved to China to further her music career. There, she started using a new professional name, NYA奈亞. She has since released several Chinese songs.
