Early Life and Modeling
Natasha Henstridge was born in Springdale, Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, on August 15, 1974. Her mother, Helen, was a homemaker, and her father, Brian, worked in construction. Natasha grew up in Fort McMurray, Alberta, with her younger brother, Shane.
When she was 14, Natasha entered a modeling contest and placed second. The next year, she went to Paris to start her modeling career. At 15, she was on the cover of the French Cosmopolitan magazine. She appeared on many more magazine covers and in TV commercials for brands like Olay and Old Spice. After becoming a successful model, Natasha started doing commercials and realized she enjoyed acting more. One of her first acting experiences was in a play called Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

Movies
Natasha's first movie was Species in 1995. In the film, she played Sil, a special alien-human creature made from a message from space. Sil escapes from a lab and is chased by a team of experts. The movie was very popular and earned a lot of money.
After Species, Natasha starred in two action movies in 1996: Adrenalin: Fear the Rush and Maximum Risk. In 1998, she played Eve in Species II, a follow-up to her first big movie. She also appeared in smaller independent films like Bela Donna and Dog Park.
Natasha starred in the comedy film The Whole Nine Yards (2000) and its sequel The Whole Ten Yards (2004). In 2001, she took on the lead role of Lieutenant Melanie Ballard in John Carpenter's science fiction movie Ghosts of Mars. She also made a brief appearance as Eve in Species III in 2004.

Natasha has also taken on many roles in television. She appeared in shows like Caracara and The Outer Limits. From 2005 to 2006, she had a recurring role in the ABC drama Commander in Chief. Natasha Henstridge was married to American actor Damian Chapa from 1995 to 1996.
She later dated American actor Liam Waite from 1996 to 2004. They have two sons together.
Natasha began a relationship with Scottish singer Darius Campbell in 2004. They got engaged and later married on Valentine's Day in 2011. They divorced in 2018.
