Nathaniel Marston (born July 9, 1975 – died November 11, 2015) was an American actor and producer. He was best known for his roles on popular TV shows. These included the CBS soap opera As the World Turns and ABC's One Life to Live.
Early Life
Nathaniel Marston was born on July 9, 1975, in Torrington, Connecticut. He lived in many different states with his mother, Elizabeth. She was an actress. When he was three, they moved to Kauai, Hawaii.
Later, at age ten, they moved to San Diego, California. For several years, he lived in Los Angeles and New York. He eventually returned to Los Angeles. There, he graduated from Beverly Hills High School.
Acting Career
Nathaniel Marston was "discovered" while working at a bakery in Beverly Hills. A customer, who was an agent for William Morris, noticed him. After appearing in some commercials, he got his first movie role. He played Rosario Cappamezza in Love Is All There Is. He acted alongside Angelina Jolie in this film.
He also had a role in the movie The Craft in 1996. Later that year, he became a regular on the TV series Matt Waters.
From 1998 to 2000, Marston played Eddie Silva. This was on the CBS soap opera As the World Turns. His performance earned him a nomination for a Soap Opera Digest Award. This award was for "Outstanding Male Newcomer."
He then joined the ABC soap opera One Life to Live. From 2001 to 2003, he played Al Holden. After that, from 2004 to 2007, he played Dr. Michael McBain on the same show.
Marston also appeared in other TV and film projects. He had a small part in the 2002 TV movie Monday Night Mayhem. In 2008, he was on Law & Order: SVU as Brent Latimer. His other movies included Ordinary Sinner (2001) and Ciao, America (2002). He also had a main role in the short film The Paw (2005). In 2011, Marston starred as Tony Parisi in Walk a Mile in My Pradas.
Personal Life
Nathaniel Marston married Rita Bias in 2006. He was also involved with charity work. He supported organizations like The Gabriel Project and Lower Eastside Service Center. In his free time, he enjoyed amateur boxing.
His Passing
On October 30, 2015, Nathaniel Marston was in a serious car accident. This happened near Reno, Nevada. He was not wearing a seatbelt. Sadly, he passed away on November 11, 2015. This was due to complications from surgery after the accident.
