It's roughly bordered by Park, 33rd, Sycamore, 21st, Cedar, and 4th Streets, and the Ohio River.
Tamms Depot
The Chicago and Eastern Illinois Railroad Depot is an old train station located on Front Street in Tamms. Train stations were very important in the past for travel and moving goods. This depot reminds us of the days when trains were a main way to get around. It was added to the National Register on November 6, 1986.
Dogtooth Bend Mounds and Village Site
The Dogtooth Bend Mounds and Village Site is an ancient area near the western end of Lake Milligan in Willard. This site holds clues about people who lived here a very long time ago. It includes old mounds and the remains of a village. It helps us learn about early cultures in Illinois. This site became a historic place on May 23, 1978.
Magnolia Manor
