Nesika Beach is a small community located on the beautiful Oregon Coast in the United States. It is found in Curry County, about 8 miles (13 km) north of Gold Beach. Nesika Beach is known as a census-designated place. This means it is an area that the government counts for population, but it does not have its own local government like a city. The name Nesika comes from Chinook Jargon. This was a trade language used by Native Americans and early settlers in the Pacific Northwest. In Chinook Jargon, "Nesika" means "we," "us," or "our."
