Neva is a small town located in Langlade County, Wisconsin, in the United States. In 2010, about 902 people lived there. This was a bit less than the 994 people who lived there in 2000. Neva even had its own post office for a short time, from 1892 to 1898.
Several smaller communities are found within the town of Neva. These include Deerbrook, Kempster, Neva, and Neva Corners.
Where is Neva Located?
Neva is in the middle part of Langlade County. It is directly north of Antigo, which is the main city and county seat of the county.
The town covers a total area of about 97.8 square kilometers (or about 37.8 square miles). Most of this area is land, with only a small part, about 1.2 square kilometers (or 0.5 square miles), being water.
Rivers and Lakes in Neva
The main river flowing through Neva is the East Branch of the Eau Claire River. It travels from the northeast to the southwest across the town.
The northern part of Neva has many hills and lakes. Some of these lakes are called the Neva Lakes, and there is also Anderson Lake.
