Video Story

The video shows respect to many scenes from The Princess and the Frog. It takes place in New Orleans, probably during the "jazz age." This was the same time period as the movie.

The video starts with Ne-Yo walking through quiet streets. He is imagining a woman as jazz musicians play behind him. He then walks into a restaurant where he works as a waiter. The woman he dreams about is a beautiful and rich customer. She is dining with her family.

Ne-Yo then goes into an empty warehouse. He imagines it as a kitchen. This part is like the movie scene where the song "Almost There" is performed. He dreams the woman comes to visit him. They eat some of Ne-Yo's cooking and have a fun time together.

Later, Ne-Yo takes a streetcar. He sees the woman with her family outside their home through the window. The woman looks up and sees him on the streetcar. She then runs after it.

This is mixed with scenes of Ne-Yo looking over the bayou. A large part of The Princess and the Frog movie happens in the bayou. He turns around and the woman is standing behind him. The two run to each other and share a kiss. At the same time, two frogs in the bayou are also seen kissing.
