New Middletown is a small village located in the southeastern part of Mahoning County, Ohio, in the United States. In 2020, about 1,507 people lived there. It is part of the larger Youngstown–Warren metropolitan area.

A Look Back: New Middletown's History
New Middletown was started in 1825 by a person named Samuel Moore. It officially became an incorporated town (meaning it had its own local government) in 1972. It is believed that the village got its name from Middletown, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. Many of the first people who settled here came from that Pennsylvania town.
