Newburg is found in the western part of Cumberland County. It is surrounded by Hopewell Township.
Roads and Travel
Several roads help people get around Newburg and to other towns:
- Pennsylvania Route 641 goes through the borough. It leads east about 9 miles (14 km) to Newville. It goes west about 6 miles (10 km) to Roxbury.
- Pennsylvania Route 696 crosses PA 641 on the west side of town. It goes south about 6 miles (10 km) to Shippensburg.
- To the northwest, you can reach Exit 201 on the Pennsylvania Turnpike (Interstate 76). This is about 4 miles (6 km) away, using PA 696 and then Pennsylvania Route 997.
