Ni Hao, Kai-Lan is a fun animated TV show made by Harringtoons Productions and Nickelodeon Productions. The show is based on the childhood memories of its creator, Karen Chau. She grew up in a home that was both Chinese and American.
The name "Ni Hao" means "Hello" in Mandarin Chinese. Kai-Lan was the Chinese name Karen Chau was given when she was born. The show first aired on February 7, 2008, on Nickelodeon's Nick Jr. block in the United States. Each episode of the series tells two different stories.

Hoho
Hoho is one of the main characters in the TV show Ni Hao, Kai-Lan. The voice for Hoho is done by Angie Wu.
Lulu
Lulu is a very cute pink rhino. She has a red balloon tied to her horn, which helps her fly in the sky. Kai-Lan is her best friend, and she is also good friends with the other characters.
When her friends are having trouble, Lulu always stays calm. She thinks of good ways to solve problems. Lulu is always ready to help her friends. Her home is a castle that floats in the sky. Lulu also plays the piano in Kai-Lan's music group. Her favorite fruit is the lychee. She loves balloons, having tea parties, dancing, and dressing up like a fairy. Lulu is a very kind, energetic, and sweet character.
Rintoo
Rintoo is another main character in the Nickelodeon series, Ni Hao, Kai-Lan. Jack Samson provides the voice for Rintoo.
Tolee
Tolee is also one of the main characters in Ni Hao, Kai-Lan. Khamani Griffin is the voice actor for Tolee.
