Nicholls is a city located in Coffee County, Georgia, in the United States. In 2010, about 2,798 people lived there. This number was higher than in 2000 because the population of a local correctional facility was included. By 2018, the city's estimated population grew to about 3,338 people.

History of Nicholls
Nicholls was founded in 1895. The city was named after John C. Nicholls. He was a U.S. Representative from Georgia.
Geography of Nicholls
Nicholls is found near the eastern edge of Coffee County. Its exact location is 31°31′1″N 82°38′16″W. Georgia State Route 32 goes through the city. This road leads west about 13 miles to Douglas, which is the county seat. It also goes east about 10 miles to Alma.
The United States Census Bureau says that Nicholls covers a total area of about 4.8 square kilometers (1.85 square miles). A small part of this area, about 0.06 square kilometers (0.02 square miles), is water. Nicholls is part of the Wiregrass Region in the United States. This means it shares the same types of land and plants as that region.
