Nicollette Sheridan (born 21 November 1963) is an actress from both Britain and America. She started her career as a fashion model. Later, she became famous for her acting roles.
She first appeared in the TV show Paper Dolls in 1984. She also starred in the movie The Sure Thing (1985). Nicollette became very well-known as Paige Matheson in the TV show Knots Landing (1986–1993). For this role, she won two Soap Opera Digest Awards.
After Knots Landing, Nicollette starred in many TV movies and miniseries. Some of these include Lucky Chances (1990) and Virus (1995). She also acted in movies like Spy Hard (1996) and Beverly Hills Ninja (1997).
From 2004 to 2009, Nicollette played Edie Britt in the TV series Desperate Housewives. This role earned her a nomination for a Golden Globe Award in 2005. Later, from 2018 to 2019, she played Alexis Carrington in the TV show Dynasty.

Early Life and Beginnings
Nicollette Sheridan was born in Worthing, England. Her mother, Sally Adams, was also an actress.
In 1969, her mother appeared in a James Bond movie called On Her Majesty's Secret Service. There, her mother met actor Telly Savalas, who played Blofeld. Telly Savalas later became Nicollette's stepfather.
Nicollette moved from the United Kingdom to the United States in 1973 when she was 10 years old.

Starting as a Model and Actress
Nicollette Sheridan began her career as a fashion model. She appeared in magazines like Vogue and on the cover of Cosmopolitan. She was also in a famous TV commercial for Martini, where she delivered drinks on roller skates.
In 1984, she started acting in the TV show Paper Dolls. The next year, she starred in the romantic comedy movie The Sure Thing.
Becoming Famous with Knots Landing
In 1986, Nicollette joined the cast of the TV show Knots Landing. She played the character Paige Matheson. She started with a smaller role but soon became a main character. She stayed on the show for seven seasons until it ended in 1993.
For her acting in Knots Landing, she won the Soap Opera Digest award for Best Lead Actress in 1990. She also won the award for Best Heroine in 1991. In the same year, People magazine named her one of the "50 Most Beautiful People."
During the 1990s, Nicollette starred in many TV movies. Some of these included Deceptions (1990) and Lucky Chances (1990). She also appeared in feature films like Noises Off (1992) and Spy Hard (1996).
Starring in Desperate Housewives
In 2004, Nicollette was cast as Edie Britt in the TV series Desperate Housewives. This show was a mix of comedy and drama. Her character, Edie, was very popular.
Nicollette was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actress – Series, Miniseries or Television Film in 2005 for her role. In 2009, she announced she was leaving Desperate Housewives. Her character, Edie Britt, was written off the show.
Recent Work
After Desperate Housewives, Nicollette continued to act in TV movies. In 2010, she starred in the Hallmark Channel film Honeymoon for One. In 2013, she starred in and helped produce another Hallmark movie called The Christmas Spirit. She also appeared in comedy movies like Jewtopia (2012).
In 2017, it was announced that Nicollette would join the TV show Dynasty. She played Alexis Morell Carrington, a role that was famous from the original Dynasty series. People liked her performance as Alexis.
In 2019, Nicollette decided to leave Dynasty. She stated that she needed to focus on personal family responsibilities.
Personal Life
Nicollette Sheridan has been married twice. She was married to actor Harry Hamlin from 1991 to 1992. She later married Aaron Phypers in 2015, and they divorced in 2018.
She also had relationships with singer Michael Bolton and personal trainer Nicklas Söderblom. In 2019, Nicollette started her own line of skincare products called Biolumière Organics.
