Nicollette Sheridan (born November 21, 1963) is an American actress. She started her career as a fashion model. Later, she became famous for her roles in popular TV shows. These include playing Paige Matheson in Knots Landing and Edie Britt in Desperate Housewives. She also appeared in many films and other television series.

Early Life and Beginnings
Nicollette Sheridan was born in Worthing, England. Her mother, Sally Adams, was also an actress. When Nicollette was about 10 years old, in 1973, she moved to the United States. Her mother later met actor Telly Savalas, who became Nicollette's stepfather.
Starting Her Career
Nicollette began her career as a fashion model. She appeared in well-known magazines like Vogue and Cosmopolitan. She also starred in a famous TV commercial for Martini, where she delivered drinks on roller skates in Los Angeles.
In 1984, Nicollette started acting in a TV show called Paper Dolls. The next year, she was in the romantic comedy film The Sure Thing.
Becoming a TV Star
Knots Landing Success
In 1986, Nicollette joined the cast of the TV show Knots Landing. She played a character named Paige Matheson. She started with a smaller role but soon became a main character. She stayed on the show for seven seasons until it ended in 1993. Her performance earned her awards, and she was even named one of People magazine's "50 Most Beautiful People" in 1991.
Movies and TV Films
During the 1990s, Nicollette starred in many television movies. Some of these included Deceptions (1990) and Lucky Chances (1990). She also appeared in feature films like the comedy Noises Off (1992). Later, she co-starred with Leslie Nielsen in Spy Hard (1996) and with Chris Farley in Beverly Hills Ninja (1997).
Desperate Housewives Fame
From 2004 to 2009, Nicollette Sheridan starred as Edie Britt in the popular ABC series Desperate Housewives. Her character was very popular with viewers. For this role, she was nominated for a Golden Globe Award in 2005. She left the show in 2009 when her character was written off.
Recent Work
After Desperate Housewives, Nicollette continued to act in TV films. In 2011, she starred in the Hallmark Channel movie Honeymoon for One. She also starred in and helped produce another Hallmark movie, The Christmas Spirit, in 2013.
From 2018 to 2019, Nicollette played Alexis Carrington in The CW's new version of Dynasty. This role was originally played by Joan Collins in the older series. Nicollette received good reviews for her performance. She left Dynasty to spend more time with her mother.
In 2023, Nicollette was announced as part of the cast for the Lifetime film Ladies of the '80s: A Divas Christmas. This movie features several famous actresses from 1980s soap operas.
Personal Life
Nicollette Sheridan has been married twice. She married actor Harry Hamlin in 1991, and they divorced in 1992. She later married Aaron Phypers in 2015, and their divorce was finalized in 2018. She also had relationships with singer Michael Bolton at different times.
In 2019, Nicollette started her own line of skincare products called Biolumière Organics.
