He helps Jane understand jungle life, and she helps him learn about human ways.
- Jane Porter (voiced by Olivia d'Abo) – Jane is Professor Porter's daughter and Tarzan's wife. She lives with Tarzan in the jungle treehouse. Jane has gotten used to jungle life. - Terk (voiced by April Winchell) – Terk is a gorilla who loves being the center of attention. She's like a big sister to Tarzan, always looking out for him. She thinks Tarzan can't survive without her, even though he's much stronger and faster. Terk loves telling Tarzan what to do, but she cares about him a lot.
- Tantor (voiced by Jim Cummings) – Tantor is a large elephant, but he's very scared of almost everything! He's even afraid of germs and pond scum. But when Tarzan is in trouble, Tantor often finds his bravery and helps out.
