Noah Igbinoghene (born November 27, 1999) is an American professional football player. He plays as a cornerback for the Washington Commanders. Before joining the NFL, he played college football for the Auburn Tigers. The Miami Dolphins chose him in the first round of the 2020 NFL draft. Igbinoghene has also played for the Dallas Cowboys. His parents, Festus Igbinoghene and Faith Idehen, were both Olympic athletes.

Early Life and Sports Beginnings
Noah Igbinoghene was born on November 27, 1999, in Trussville, Alabama. He has Nigerian family roots and lived in Nigeria for some time. Both of his parents, Festus and Faith, were Olympic athletes. They competed in track and field events.
Noah went to Hewitt-Trussville High School. He was a talented athlete there, playing on the football team as a wide receiver. In his final year, he gained over 1,700 yards and scored 18 touchdowns. He earned special honors for his football skills in Alabama.
Besides football, Noah was also a champion in track and field. He won eight state titles in Alabama for the long jump and triple jump.
College Football Journey
Noah Igbinoghene received a football scholarship to Auburn University. He played there from 2017 to 2019.
Starting as a Wide Receiver
As a freshman, Noah was a backup wide receiver. He mostly played on special teams, which are important plays like kickoffs and punts. He played in 14 games, catching 6 passes for 24 yards. He also returned 24 kickoffs for a total of 571 yards.
Switch to Cornerback

Miami Dolphins (2020–2023)
The Miami Dolphins picked Noah Igbinoghene in the first round of the 2020 NFL draft. He was the 30th player chosen overall. He was the youngest player in the NFL when he started. His first season was unusual because of the COVID-19 pandemic, which limited his training and canceled preseason games.
In his first year, he played in all 16 games and started two. He made 10 tackles and recovered 2 fumbles. He also helped on special teams. In 2021, he played in 7 games and started one. He continued to work hard despite some challenges.
In 2022, Noah played in 9 games and started two. He made 10 tackles and had his first career interception. This interception happened in the final moments of a game against the Pittsburgh Steelers, helping his team win 16–10.
Dallas Cowboys (2023)
On August 29, 2023, the Dolphins traded Noah to the Dallas Cowboys. In his very first game with the Cowboys, he scored a touchdown! He returned a blocked field goal 58 yards, which helped the Cowboys win 40–0 against the New York Giants. He mostly played on special teams for the Cowboys.
Washington Commanders (2024–Present)
Noah Igbinoghene signed with the Washington Commanders on March 18, 2024. He joined his former defensive coordinator, Dan Quinn, who became the head coach for the Commanders. When another player got injured, Noah stepped up. He became the starting nickelback, which is a special cornerback position. He kept this starting role even after the injured player returned. He played in all 17 regular season games in 2024, starting ten of them. He recorded 55 tackles and broke up seven passes.
On March 18, 2025, Noah re-signed with the Commanders for another year.
