Noah Cameron Schnapp (born October 3, 2004) is an American actor. He is famous for playing Will Byers in the popular Netflix show Stranger Things. He also had a role in the movie Bridge of Spies and was the voice of Charlie Brown in The Peanuts Movie.

Early Life and Family
Noah Schnapp was born in New York City to his parents, Mitchell and Karine Schnapp. He grew up in a town called Scarsdale, New York, with his twin sister. Noah is a citizen of both the United States and Canada.
His family is Jewish, and he celebrated his bar mitzvah in Israel. His mother's family has Moroccan Jewish roots.
When Noah was five years old, he saw the Broadway musical Annie and was inspired to become an actor. He started acting in plays at his school and in his community. At age eight, his acting teacher suggested he try acting professionally. His parents helped him join an acting program, which led to him getting a manager and starting his career.

Noah's first big role was in 2015 as the voice of Charlie Brown in the animated movie The Peanuts Movie. In the same year, he appeared in the movie Bridge of Spies, which was directed by the famous Steven Spielberg.
Breakthrough with 'Stranger Things'
Noah's career took off in 2016 when he was cast as Will Byers in the Netflix series Stranger Things. He had first tried out for the part of Mike, another main character. He found out he got the role of Will while he was away at a summer camp.
For the first season, Will Byers was a recurring character, but Noah became a main cast member in the second season. His performance as Will has been praised by critics. In 2022, Noah shared that his character, Will, is gay.
Other Roles
Besides Stranger Things, Noah has appeared in other projects. In 2016, he was in the music video for the song "LA Devotee" by the band Panic! at the Disco.
He has also acted in movies like Abe (2019) and Waiting for Anya (2020). In 2020, he was in the Netflix Halloween movie Hubie Halloween. More recently, he starred in the thriller film The Tutor (2023), where he played a troubled teenager.
Other Projects
In 2019, Noah started a YouTube channel. He posted vlogs and lifestyle videos for about a year and a half. The channel became very popular, gaining millions of subscribers and views.
In 2021, he co-founded a snack company called To Be Honest (TBH), which focuses on making healthy and environmentally friendly snacks. In 2023, he also launched TenderFix, a food brand that delivers chicken tenders and is operated by IHOP.
Before starting college, Noah also worked as a lifeguard during his summer break.
Personal Life
Noah is currently a student at the University of Pennsylvania, where he is studying business. He is expected to graduate in 2026.
In January 2023, Noah shared in a TikTok video that he is gay. He said he was happy that his friends and family were very accepting. In the video's caption, he joked, "I guess I'm more similar to Will [Byers] than I thought," connecting his own life to his Stranger Things character.
Following the October 7 attacks, Noah expressed his support for Israel. Later, a video showed him with stickers that stated his views, which caused some fans to call for a boycott of Stranger Things. In January 2024, he posted a video asking for peace and understanding for everyone involved, saying his beliefs had been misunderstood.
