Noah Cameron Schnapp is a talented American actor, born on October 3, 2004. He first appeared in movies in 2015, lending his voice to Charlie Brown in The Peanuts Movie. He also acted in Steven Spielberg's film Bridge of Spies that same year. Noah became famous worldwide for playing Will Byers in the popular Netflix science fiction series Stranger Things, which ran from 2016 to 2025. His acting in the series earned him many awards.

Early Life
Noah Cameron Schnapp was born in New York City. His parents, Mitchell and Karine Schnapp, are from Montreal, Canada. He grew up in Scarsdale, New York, with his twin sister. Noah is a citizen of both the U.S. and Canada. He is Jewish and celebrated his bar mitzvah in Israel.
Noah became interested in acting at age 5 after watching the Broadway show Annie. He acted in school plays and community shows. When he was 8, his acting teacher encouraged him to try acting professionally. His parents enrolled him in an acting program. There, a coach helped him connect with a talent management company, which started his career.
Acting Career
Early Roles
Noah's professional acting career began in 2015. He voiced the main character, Charlie Brown, in the animated movie The Peanuts Movie. In the same year, he appeared in the historical drama Bridge of Spies, directed by Steven Spielberg. He played Roger Donovan in the film.
Stranger Things and Beyond
Noah's big break happened in July 2016. He started playing Will Byers in the Netflix science fiction series Stranger Things. He first tried out for a different role, but was chosen to play Will. For the second season, which started in October 2017, he became a main cast member. His performance as Will has been highly praised by critics.
In 2016, Noah appeared in the music video for "LA Devotee" by Panic! at the Disco. He even performed with the band on stage in 2017. He also acted in short films like The Circle (2018) and We Only Know So Much (2018). He continued voice acting as Kai in the animated movie The Legend of Hallowaiian (2018).
Noah also starred in independent movies such as Abe (2019) and Waiting for Anya (2020). He was in the 2020 Halloween comedy Hubie Halloween on Netflix, playing Tommy. In 2022, he joined the movie The Tutor (2023). He also voiced Charlie Brown again for the video game The Peanuts Movie: Snoopy's Grand Adventure in 2015.
Other Projects
In 2019, Noah started his own YouTube channel. He posted vlogs and videos about his life. By June 2022, his channel had over 4 million subscribers and 110 million views.
In 2021, Noah co-founded To Be Honest (TBH), a snack company focused on being good for the environment. In 2023, he also launched TenderFix, a delivery-only virtual restaurant brand that serves chicken tenders.
Before starting college, Noah also worked as a lifeguard during his summer break.
Personal Life
Noah attends the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He is studying entrepreneurship and innovation. He is expected to graduate in 2026.
Noah is the godparent of the adopted child of his Stranger Things co-star Millie Bobby Brown and her husband Jake Bongiovi.
