Millie Bonnie Bongiovi (her birth name was Brown; born 19 February 2004), known professionally as Millie Bobby Brown, is a British actress and film producer. She became famous worldwide for playing Eleven in the Netflix science fiction series Stranger Things, which ran from 2016 to 2025. For this role, she received nominations for two Primetime Emmy Awards.
In 2018, Time magazine included Brown in its list of the world's 100 most influential people. She was also named a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, becoming the youngest person ever chosen for this important role.

Her middle name was "Bonnie," but she chose "Bobby" as part of her stage name. Millie was born with some hearing loss in her left ear. Over several years, she gradually lost all hearing in that ear.
When she was four, her family moved back to England and settled in Bournemouth. Later, when Millie was eight, her family moved to Orlando, Florida in the United States.
