Millie Bobby Brown Bongiovi (born on February 19, 2004) is a talented British actress. She became very famous for her role as Eleven in the exciting Netflix science fiction show Stranger Things. For this role, she was nominated for two important awards called Primetime Emmy Awards.

Millie has also starred in big monster movies like Godzilla: King of the Monsters (2019) and Godzilla vs. Kong (2021). She also acted in and helped produce the Netflix movies Enola Holmes (2020), Enola Holmes 2 (2022), and Damsel (2024).

In 2018, Time magazine named Millie one of the 100 most influential people in the world. She also became a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, which means she helps children around the world. She was the youngest person ever to get this important job!

About Millie's Early Life

Millie Bobby Brown was born in Marbella, Spain, on February 19, 2004. She is the third of four children born to British parents, Kelly and Robert Brown. Millie was born with some hearing loss in her left ear, and over time, she completely lost hearing in that ear.

When she was four years old, her family moved back to England, settling in a town called Bournemouth. Later, when she was eight, her family moved to Orlando, Florida, in the United States.

Millie's Acting Career

Starting Out in Acting (2013–2017)

Millie Bobby Brown started her acting journey in 2013. Her first role was a guest appearance in the TV show Once Upon a Time in Wonderland, where she played Young Alice. In 2014, she had a main role in the show Intruders as Madison O'Donnell. She also appeared in popular shows like NCIS, Modern Family, and Grey's Anatomy.

Becoming Famous with Stranger Things

In 2016, Millie got the role that made her a global star: Eleven in the Netflix science fiction horror series Stranger Things. People loved her performance, and she received many awards and nominations. She was nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for her acting. She also won a Screen Actors Guild Award with her co-stars for being the best group of actors in a drama series. She also won a Saturn Award for her performance.

Millie made her first big movie appearance in 2019 in Godzilla: King of the Monsters. She played the same character in the next movie, Godzilla vs. Kong (2021).

In 2019, Millie launched her own beauty product line called Florence by Mills. It sells makeup and skincare products. In 2020, she starred in and helped produce the movie Enola Holmes, where she played Sherlock Holmes's clever younger sister. She returned as Enola in the sequel, Enola Holmes 2, in 2022. For this movie, she earned a lot of money, making her one of Hollywood's highest-paid actresses that year.

In 2023, Millie released her first novel, Nineteen Steps. It's a story about love, loss, and secrets, based on her own family history. In 2024, she starred in and helped produce the fantasy film Damsel for Netflix.

Millie will next appear in a movie called The Electric State, which is based on a graphic novel.

Millie's Personal Life

In 2021, Millie started a relationship with actor Jake Bongiovi. They got engaged in April 2023 and were married in May 2024. Millie has also taken her husband's last name.

Millie is also a student! As of 2022, she has been taking online classes at Purdue University Global, studying health and human services.

Millie loves animals and has many pets! As of 2023, she has ten pets: four dogs, two cats, two tortoises named Becky and David, a rabbit named Eeyore, and a donkey named Bernard. She often shares photos of fostered cats and dogs on social media to help them find new homes.
