Nokia E7-00 facts for kids

Kids Encyclopedia Facts

The Nokia E7-00, also known as the Nokia E7, was a special kind of smartphone made by Nokia. It was designed for people who used their phones a lot for work, thanks to its full QWERTY keyboard. Nokia first showed off the E7 in September 2010, and it became available in February 2011. It was one of the first phones to use the Symbian^3 operating system.

The Nokia E7 was similar to the Nokia N8 but had some differences. It came with 16GB of built-in storage, but you couldn't add more memory with a memory card. Its camera was good, but it used a technology called "Extended Depth of Field" instead of the "autofocus" found in the N8. Like the N8, the E7 had an HDMI connector, which meant you could connect it to a TV. The battery was built-in and couldn't be easily removed by users. The phone had a cool sliding keyboard and a strong outer case made of anodized aluminum. It also featured a multi-touch capacitive touchscreen, which was a big step up from older phones.
