- Madawaska County, in Rivière-Verte Parish.
A forest road runs along the east side of the river for its entire length.

- For the first 2.8 kilometres (1.7 mi), it flows east in Saint-Quentin Parish (Restigouche County) until it meets another small stream.
- Then, it turns south for about 8.6 kilometres (5.3 mi), passing by a logging camp, until it meets another stream.
- Next, it flows southeast for about 3.9 kilometres (2.4 mi) until it reaches the border of Rivière-Verte Parish (Madawaska County).
- Finally, it continues southeast for about 3.2 kilometres (2.0 mi) in Rivière-Verte Parish until it joins the main Gounamitz River.
