Geography of North Madison
North Madison is located in the northeastern part of Lake County. It sits right along the beautiful shore of Lake Erie. This area is part of Madison Township.
The community known as POTATO is in the eastern part of North Madison. Madison-on-the-Lake is found in the northern section. North Madison is about 1 mile (1.6 km) north of the unincorporated community of North Madison and U.S. Route 20. It is also about 4 miles (6.4 km) north of the village of Madison. Other nearby towns include Geneva, about 7 miles (11 km) northwest, and Perry, about 9 miles (14 km) northeast.
