Néstor Raúl Gorosito (born May 14, 1964) is a famous Argentine football player and manager. He played as a midfielder and is currently the manager of Alianza Lima.

Playing Career Highlights
Néstor, often called Pipo, started his football journey at River Plate. He also played for San Lorenzo three times. There, he scored 72 goals in 241 games. Another important club for him was Universidad Católica in Chile. He played 149 games there before retiring in 2000.
Gorosito also played in Europe for Swarovski Tirol in Austria from 1989 to 1991. Later, in 1996, he played in Japan for Yokohama Marinos. He also proudly represented the Argentina national team in 19 games between 1989 and 1997.

Managerial Journey
Gorosito began his coaching career at Nueva Chicago in 2003. He helped them avoid being moved to a lower league. After that, he coached San Lorenzo de Almagro, but his time there ended in 2004.
In 2005, he became the manager of Lanús, but this role lasted only two months. The next year, he took charge of Rosario Central, leaving in March 2007.
In 2008, Gorosito led Argentinos Juniors to qualify for the 2008 Copa Sudamericana. This was their first international tournament since 1996. He then coached River Plate starting in December 2008. He resigned in October 2009.
On January 19, 2010, Gorosito became the manager of Xerez CD in Spain. Even though the team was at the bottom of La Liga, he helped them win seven out of 19 matches. He left the club in July after not agreeing on a new contract.
In September 2011, Gorosito returned to Argentinos Juniors. He resigned in February 2012 after a car accident. On October 23, 2012, he was appointed manager of Tigre.
Gorosito led Tigre to the final of the 2012 Copa Sudamericana. He left the club in July 2013. In October 2014, he went back to Argentinos Juniors again. He helped them get promoted back to the first division right away.
On December 23, 2015, Gorosito became the manager of UD Almería in Spain. They were in the last place in their league. He was let go in May 2016. He has continued to manage various clubs, including San Martín (SJ), Tigre (again), Olimpia, Gimnasia La Plata, and Colón. As of July 2025, he is the head coach for Alianza Lima.
