O-Chan no Oekaki Logic is a fun puzzle game released only in Japan. It's based on the popular Picross style of puzzles. This game is a spin-off from Sunsoft's Hebereke game series.

The first version of O-Chan no Oekaki Logic came out on the PlayStation on September 8, 1995. After that, it was released on many other game systems. This game is special because it's the only Hebereke game where Utsuzin is the main bad guy, instead of Unyohn. Two sequels to this game have also been released.

Game Story

The game starts with O-Chan and Hebe walking happily in a field. Suddenly, Utsuzin appears in a UFO and captures Hebe! O-Chan tries to chase after them, but she's too late. To save her friend, O-Chan bravely sets off on an adventure to Utsuzin's secret lair.

At the end of the game, O-Chan wakes up in her bed. This suggests that her whole adventure to rescue Hebe might have been a dream.

How to Play

O-Chan no Oekaki Logic is a Picross game. In Picross, you solve puzzles by filling in squares on a grid. Numbers along the sides of the grid tell you how many squares to fill in each row and column. When you fill in the correct squares, a hidden picture appears! If you complete the picture correctly, you win the game.

The game also has a multiplayer mode. In this mode, you can play against a friend. Both players try to solve the same puzzle grid to see who can finish it first.

There's also an edit mode where you can get creative! This mode lets players design and create their very own puzzles. You can make puzzles for yourself or for others to solve.

The Sega Saturn version of the game added a special story mode. In this mode, you face different opponents as you play through the game. You can also try to finish levels as fast as possible to get better times.

If you're new to Picross, don't worry! The game includes a helpful tutorial mode. This mode teaches you all the rules and tips you need to know to play the game.

Game Sequels

O-Chan no Oekaki Logic 2

The first sequel, O-Chan no Oekaki Logic 2 , was released on September 27, 1996, for the PlayStation. It was later released on the WonderSwan on January 6, 2000. For the WonderSwan version, the "2" was removed from the title. This was because it was the only game in the series available on that system. This sequel brought new puzzles, fresh music, and improved graphics. It also added a "painting mode" where you fill the puzzle grid with colors.

O-Chan no Oekaki Logic 3

The third and final game in the main series was O-Chan no Oekaki Logic 3 . It came out on January 11, 2001, only for the PlayStation. This game used the same basic game engine as the very first O-Chan no Oekaki Logic. It offered many more levels to play. However, it did not include the new features that were added in the second game.

O-Chan no Oekaki DX

O-Chan no Oekaki DX was released in 2004 for mobile phones. This was the last game in the Hebereke series. Not much information is known about this specific version. As its name "DX" suggests, it was a remake or improved version of the first O-Chan no Oekaki Logic game.
