Orin J. Childress (born December 6, 1976) is a former American football player. He played as a linebacker, which is a defensive position. Childress was part of the New York Giants in the National Football League (NFL).
He was picked by the Giants in the 1999 NFL Draft. Before playing professionally, he played college football at Clemson University. He also went to McGavock High School in Nashville, Tennessee. Childress played for other teams too, like the Amsterdam Admirals, San Francisco 49ers, and Carolina Panthers.
