Geography and Location
Oak Hills is found in the Mojave Desert. It is north of the Cajon Pass. You can find it southwest of Hesperia. It is also east of Phelan.
The community sits at an elevation of about 3,799 feet (1,158 meters) above sea level. The total land area of Oak Hills is about 24.4 square miles (63.2 square kilometers).

Students in Oak Hills attend schools from two different districts. Part of the community is in the Hesperia Unified School District. Another part is in the Snowline Joint Unified School District.
