Geography of Oakwood
Oakwood is found in the eastern part of Dewey County. It is located just southwest of two main roads, U.S. Routes 270 and 281. These roads connect Oakwood to other towns nearby. For example, Seiling is about 20 miles (32 km) to the northwest, and Watonga is about 19 miles (31 km) to the southeast.
