Oh Jang-Eun (Korean: 오장은; born July 24, 1985) is a talented football player from South Korea. He played as a defensive midfielder. He was chosen to play for the Asian Cup 2007. This happened after another player, Kim Nam-Il, got injured.

Oh Jang-Eun's Club Career
Starting in Japan
In 2002, Oh Jang-Eun started his professional football career. He joined a Japanese team called FC Tokyo in the J1 League. He became the youngest player ever to play in the J1 League. This was quite special because most Korean players start their youth careers in Korea.
Playing in South Korea
After playing in Japan, Oh Jang-Eun moved to South Korea. He joined the K-League team Daegu FC. He played for them for two seasons.
In 2007, he moved to Ulsan Hyundai Horang-i. He helped his new team win the 2007 K-League Cup. On September 23, 2006, he scored three goals in one game. This is called a hat-trick in football. It was his first hat-trick as a professional player.
On February 1, 2011, Oh Jang-Eun signed with Suwon Samsung Bluewings. He continued to play for different clubs in South Korea until 2018.
Oh Jang-Eun's International Career
Oh Jang-Eun also played for his country, South Korea. He was part of both the junior and senior national teams.
Youth Teams
He played for the U-20 team. With this team, he participated in the 2005 FIFA World Youth Championship.
Senior Team
He joined the senior national team in 2006. His first game for the senior team was against Ghana. He played a total of 14 games for the senior team. His last game was against Japan in the 2010 East Asian Football Championship.
