Omenaa Mensah (born on July 26, 1979, in Jelenia Góra, Poland) is a very active Polish woman. She is known for helping others, starting businesses, and being a TV presenter. She also collects art and invests in different projects.
Education and Early Life
Omenaa went to primary school in Swarzędz and then to high school in Poznań. She was also a talented basketball player for five years, playing for the Union of Swarzędz team.
She studied "Management and Marketing" at a university in Poznań. Later, she focused on international relations, especially about Europe, at the Poznań University of Economics. She continued her studies, exploring economic and social topics.
Her Career Journey
While she was still studying, Omenaa started her first business called Omi Hair. This company offered African hairstyles to people. She also worked as a model in Poland and other parts of Europe.
Since 2003, Omenaa has been a popular weather presenter for the TVN Group. She also hosts many other shows on their channels. These shows cover exciting topics like travel, sports, cooking, and lifestyle.
In 2008, she hosted a cooking show called Kitchen cooking - open 24 hours a day with her daughter, Vanessa. From 2014 to 2016, she had a show called Star Houses on Domo+. In this program, she visited famous Polish people in their homes. She also hosted Luxury Houses with Omena in 2019. In 2020, she helped create a show called Exceptional Houses, which was shown on TVN Style and TVN.

Helping Others: Philanthropy
Omenaa Mensah is very passionate about helping people. In May 2014, she started the "Omenaa Foundation" and became its president.
One of the foundation's biggest projects began in April 2017. They started building a school for children in Tema, Ghana. The money for this school and other good deeds comes from special projects and events involving Polish celebrities.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, Omenaa's foundation helped Polish children in children's homes. They organized a drive to give computers to these children so they could learn from home.
The foundation also works to teach people about tolerance. This means accepting and respecting everyone, no matter their background. In January 2020, Omenaa produced a charity show called Czarno to widzę, czyli wymieszani, posortowani.
In 2022, she became the vice-president of the "Rafał Brzoska Foundation." This foundation helps talented young people from poorer rural areas with money and guidance.
Also in 2022, Omenaa and Rafał Brzoska organized "Convoys of Polish Hearts." These were huge private shipments of aid for people in Ukraine during the war. They sent ambulances and trucks with food, medicine, and hygiene products to cities like Rivne and Kharkiv.
They also created the "RiO Edu Centrum" in Warsaw. This center helps women and children who had to leave their homes because of the war. It offers legal help, medical care, job support, Polish language classes, and childcare for young children.
In 2022, Omenaa and Rafał Brzoska held a "Great Charity Auction: Top Charity 2022." They raised a lot of money, which Rafał Brzoska then doubled. This money went to the new "Rafał Brzoska Foundation."
For all her charity work, Omenaa has received special awards. In 2020, she won the "Charity Stars" award. She also placed second in the "Business Woman 2020 – Social Activities" category. In 2021, she was honored with the "Superstar of the Galaxy" award.
Personal Life
Omenaa Mensah's mother, Izabella, is Polish, and her father, Opoku, is Ghanaian. Her mother studied environmental protection. Her father is a heart surgeon who has worked in many countries.
Omenaa has two children. Her daughter, Vanessa, was born in 2002. Her son, Vincent, was born in 2017. Vincent's father is Rafał Brzoska, whom Omenaa married in 2019.
She loves art, design, and architecture, especially sculptures. In 2021, she mentioned she was working on a big international project about architecture, art, and design.
