Ong is a small village located in Clay County, Nebraska, in the United States. In 2020, about 49 people lived there. It is part of the wider Hastings, Nebraska area.

History of Ong

Ong was officially started in 1886. This happened when the Burlington and Missouri River Railroad built its tracks to this spot. The village was named after Judge Joseph Eli Ong. He was the original owner of the land where the town was built.
